Key Responsibilities  

1. Take responsibilities in designing, building and maintaining Backend services.
2. Create maintainable, reusable, and reliable services.
3. Ensure the performance, quality, scalability, and availability of applications.
4. Review and provide constructive feedback on code written by team members to ensure quality and consistency.
5. Other tasks assigned by the Company or Line Manager
   

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
2. Extensive 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer.
3. Have proficiency with one or more of API designs/standards: RESTFul APIs, or SOAP, or GraphQL, or gRPC, or RPC.
4. Familiarity with database technologies, either relational DB or non-relational DB. Can optimize database design and optimize database queries.
5. Have proficiency in SDLC and processes (such as: Agile/Scrum)
6. Have proficiency with Devops automation tools, Git, CI/CD.
7. Have proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
8. Have good knowledge of Operating Systems, Networks.
9. Strong problem-solving skills. Can suggest multiple approaches for a problem.
10. Can work in a team or work independently.

Prefer

1. Experience with Microservices, cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
2. Have proficiency with Go, or Python.
3. Have proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis.
4. Basic knowledge of Frontend technologies and how Frontend integrates with Backend.
